Vivid Color Digital Consultation Terms & Conditions

New Guests:

Complete the digital consultation form below.
Please be as detailed and thorough as possible when completing the form. Any omission on your hair history can cause certain products to not work as effectively and will result in extra fees and /or results differing from what you're hoping to achieve.
Once the consultation has been filled out, we will contact you within 48-business hours to set up a consultation time. We prefer in-person, so if test strands need to be done, we can. We do also offer zoom consultations if you prefer or timing allows.
Please send at least two well lit photos of your current hair, including one of the root area and one of the sides or back, as well as two inspiration photos to amanda@rbsalon.net.

Long Term Expectations:

Vivid color can last up to 20 shampoos. We find that the pastels and lighter tones will fade faster- more like 10-15, while the deeper, more vibrant tones often last 25+. The colors we find hold the longest are blue, red, dark purple, and fuschia.
The life of these colors will be extended when you use cold water to shampoo, cut back shampooing to 2-3 times per week when possible, keep any heat tools (blowdryers or curling/flat irons) to a lower temperature.
We highly recommend purchasing Keep Me Vivid shampoo & conditioner to maintain and extend the life of your color. We can get science-y about it when you come in, but it WORKS!

Your Appointment Includes:

A thorough consultation and assessment of your hair and goals.
Test stranding when necessary.
A haircut to clean up the length of your hair as it is going to be put through some extreme changes.
Deep conditioning and color extending treatments.
Recommendations for take-home products with instructions on how to best maintain your color.

The final price will be determined during our consultation based on your desired result and chosen colors and technique.

Maintenance Appointments:

There are many options for how to maintain this type of color. We may need to see you back in 4-6 weeks. We may need to see you back in 12+. This will entirely depend on your needs. We will talk this through in your consultation and let you know what your options are.
We STRONGLY recommend that you come in between appointments for a deep conditioning treatment to keep your hair in optimal health.
Depending on how your color fades and what kind of color palette you want for your repeat visits, you may not need to lighten your new growth again. Color remover may or may not be needed, again, depending on your next color palette and fading. Maintenance appointments generally take less time and work on your hair.
